Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SketchUpTrainer.com (the Website), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (Terms). If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Website, purchasing the SketchUp Trainer Learning Pass (Monthly Access / Annual Access), enrolling in courses, or participating in training sessions.
Membership & Course Access
Learning Pass Model
SketchUpTrainer.com provides access through the SketchUp Trainer Learning Pass (Monthly Access / Annual Access). All courses, resources, and the Community Hub are available only to users with active Monthly Access or Annual Access.
The Learning Pass includes:

Unlimited access to all SketchUp courses and training content

Participation in the Community Hub (private forum)

Access to live Project Clinics/office hours for Q&A and support

Any new content added during your active access period
Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
Monthly Access and Annual Access renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle.
You may cancel anytime before your next billing date to avoid future charges. If you cancel, you will keep access through the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for cancellations mid-cycle.
If a renewal payment fails, access may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.
Course & Training Policies
Digital Courses & Learning Materials
All payments for digital access products, including Learning Pass (Monthly Access / Annual Access) subscriptions and digital course purchases (if offered), are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
The SketchUp Trainer Learning Pass (Monthly Access / Annual Access)provides access to all available courses, but does not grant ownership of course materials. Unauthorized sharing, copying, downloading, or distributing course content is strictly prohibited.
Account Sharing/Login Credentials
Learning Pass (Monthly Access / Annual Access) access is for one user only. Users may not share login credentials. Concurrent use by multiple users may result in suspension or termination of access, with or without refund.
Private Training & 1:1 Coaching Sessions (Online)
All private training sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Rescheduling: Requires at least 48 hours’ notice via email. One reschedule is allowed per booking. If SketchUpTrainer.com reschedules, the session will be rescheduled at no penalty.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
No-Show Policy: If you do not attend your scheduled session and have not provided prior notice, the session will be forfeited with no refund.
Events (In-Person Training & Live Webinars)
For purposes of this section, event includes in-person training and live webinar series.
Event start date means the first scheduled day (for in-person training) or the first scheduled session (for a live webinar series).
All cancellation deadlines are calculated based on Eastern Time (ET), unless otherwise stated.
Payments for events are non-refundable except as stated below or if the event is canceled by SketchUpTrainer.com.
Registrations are non-transferable unless approved in writing by SketchUpTrainer.com.
If SketchUpTrainer.com cancels an event: Attendees will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the event. SketchUpTrainer.com is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other personal expenses.
If an attendee cancels
- 7 or more calendar days before the event start date: eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid.
- Less than 7 calendar days before the event start date: non-refundable.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email. The effective cancellation date is the date the email is received.
Attendees are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and other related expenses.
Bundled access included with event registration
- If an event registration includes bundled digital access, bonuses, or promotional access (including, but not limited to, Learning Pass access), such access is tied to the event registration. If the attendee cancels the event registration and receives a refund (full or partial), the bundled access associated with that registration may be deactivated.
Community Hub & Code of Conduct
The Community Hub is a private forum available only to users with active SketchUp Trainer Learning Pass access (Monthly Access / Annual Access) for networking, support, and discussions.
Community Guidelines
To ensure a positive experience, users agree to:

Be respectful to everyone in the Community Hub.

Stay on topic (SketchUp, workflow, rendering, etc.).

Ask questions, collaborate, and contribute constructively.

No harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate content.

No spam, excessive self-promotion, or sales pitches.
Project Clinics / Office Hours
Project Clinics and office hours are group support sessions and are not guaranteed one-on-one support. Schedules, availability, and format are subject to change. Recordings may or may not be available.
Content Moderation & Removal
SketchUpTrainer.com reserves the right to remove posts or suspend/revoke access for users who violate these guidelines. Users removed for misconduct will not receive a refund.
Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
All content (videos, PDFs, training materials) are the intellectual property of SketchUpTrainer.com.
Unauthorized copying, distribution, resale, or reproduction of content is prohibited.
Violations may result in account termination without refund.
Technical Support & Access
SketchUpTrainer.com is not responsible for third-party software issues.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have:
- A working internet connection.
- SketchUp software installed.
- Required plugins/extensions (if applicable).

Reseller & Affiliate Disclosure
SketchUpTrainer.com operates as both an authorized reseller for select third-party software and tools—such as Chaos products (including Enscape and V-Ray)—and participates in affiliate marketing programs. Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning that if you purchase through them, SketchUpTrainer.com may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
We only recommend products that we personally trust and believe will be valuable for SketchUp users. However, all purchases made through reseller or affiliate links are governed by the terms and conditions of the respective third-party provider.
SketchUpTrainer.com is not responsible for product warranties, support, or direct customer service related to these products.
Third-Party Product Responsibility
All resold and affiliate products are subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of their respective vendors.
SketchUpTrainer.com does not own or control these third-party products and is not responsible for:
Software updates, functionality, or compatibility
License management or activation issues
Customer service, technical support, or product warranties
For support on resold products such as Enscape and V-Ray, please contact the original provider (e.g., Chaos for Enscape support).
Refund & Cancellation Policies for Resold Products
Purchases of third-party products through SketchUpTrainer.com are subject to the refund and cancellation policies of the original software provider.
SketchUpTrainer.com does not issue refunds for resold software or affiliate products unless explicitly stated in our terms.
For Chaos products such as Enscape and V-Ray, please refer to Chaos’ official refund policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SketchUpTrainer.com is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising out of or related to the use of the Website, training, courses, consulting, or recommendations.
SketchUpTrainer.com is also not liable for:
- Any project errors, omissions, or outcomes resulting from the application or misuse of course content, training, or recommendations
- Technical failures, software issues, or compatibility problems outside of our control (including, but not limited to, SketchUp software crashes, third-party plugins/extensions, hosting issues, or internet outages)
- Losses or damages related to decisions made by users, clients, contractors, or third parties based on training, consulting, or recommendations provided by SketchUpTrainer.com
Cap on Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of SketchUpTrainer.com for any claim arising out of or related to the Website, courses, training, consulting, or services will not exceed the amount paid by the user to SketchUpTrainer.com for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Training content is for educational purposes.
User is responsible for verifying dimensions, code compliance, constructability, and project requirements.
SketchUpTrainer.com is not providing architectural/engineering/legal advice unless separately contracted and stated in writing.
Modifications to Terms & Services
SketchUpTrainer.com reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.
