SESSION 1
Learn the Core Drawing Tools
We’ll set up SketchUp Pro, customize the workspace, and cover the essential drawing tools including Line, Rectangle, and Arc. You’ll practice creating and editing 3D models with Push/Pull, Offset, and Move, while learning navigation techniques that make moving through SketchUp easy and intuitive.

Organize with Groups, Components & Tags
This session focuses on Groups and Components, the backbone of every clean SketchUp model. You’ll learn how to structure your projects for flexibility, organize visibility with Tags, and begin working with styles and scenes to prepare simple presentation views.

SESSION 3
Turn Photos & Drawings into 3D Models
We’ll use the Matched Photo tool to build models directly from photographs and import 2D drawings to turn them into full 3D projects. Along the way, you’ll explore interior modeling techniques, adding details and finishes that make your models more accurate and usable.

SESSION 4
Present with Extensions, Enscape & LayOut
In our final session, you’ll see how SketchUp extensions streamline your workflow and how tools like Enscape bring fast visualizations to life. We’ll also introduce SketchUp LayOut for creating drawings and documents, then wrap up with a live Q&A to reinforce the key concepts and workflows from the course.

Please note that live Q&A and support are available during the scheduled course dates. If you’re watching recordings after the series has ended, I’m happy to help with brief follow-up questions when possible, but in-depth support may require joining the next live run or booking private training.

SketchUp for iPad: While useful for on-site markups and presentations, it’s not ideal for full production workflows. This course is focused on the desktop version of SketchUp.

Do I need any prior SketchUp or 3D modeling experience?
Absolutely not! This course is designed from the ground up for absolute beginners. We start with the fundamental concepts and build your skills step-by-step in a supportive, easy-to-understand way. All you need is a willingness to learn.
What if I have to miss one of the live sessions?
No problem. We know life is busy. Every live session is recorded and will be available to you within 24 hours. You can watch, re-watch, and catch up on any missed content at your own pace, whenever it's convenient for you.
How long will I have access to the course recordings?
You will have lifetime access to all session recordings and course materials. Your investment in your skills shouldn't have an expiration date.
What software do I need for the course?
You will need SketchUp Pro (the 2025 version is recommended). If you don't have a license, you can use the free 7-day trial to participate in the course. We will walk you through the installation and setup process during our first session.
Is this course right for my specific profession?
